Segons l&#8217;informe, un <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ferrmed.com\/eng\/content\/view\/82\/75\/\">gran eix ferroviari<\/a> de mercaderies Escandin\u00e0via-Rin-Roine-Mediterr\u00e0nia Occidental ser\u00e0 m\u00e9s econ\u00f2mic, r\u00e0pid i ecol\u00f2gic. Les empreses esperen conv\u00e8ncer la UE perqu\u00e8 aprovi un pla d&#8217;inversions urgent.<\/div>\n<div class=\"entradetaGranNoticia\">\n<p>Segons l&#8217;estudi, el gran eix mediterrani, de 1.700 km, costaria menys diners que no pas l&#8217;eix Algesires-Madrid-Irun-Li\u00f3-Ginebra, de 2.200 km. Tamb\u00e9 conclou que reduiria de 900.000 tones l&#8217;any les emissions de CO2, perqu\u00e8 hi hauria un nombre menor de camions a la carretera.<\/p>\n<p>Fa temps que els sectors empresarials del nostre pa\u00eds aposten i treballen per un corredor mediterrani, no solament de mercaderies, sin\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 de passatgers. No \u00e9s casualitat, si tenim en compte que l&#8217;estudi de FERRMED considera els ports de Barcelona i de Val\u00e8ncia els m\u00e9s importants de l&#8217;eix mediterrani, perqu\u00e8 s\u00f3n la porta d&#8217;entrada, al sud del continent, de les mercaderies procedents de l&#8217;\u00c0sia. Les cambres de comer\u00e7 catalana i valenciana han estat de les institucions que m\u00e9s han lluitat per aquest eix mediterrani. Tamb\u00e9 autors com el ge\u00f2graf Josep Vicent Boira, que fa temps que insisteix en la import\u00e0ncia del corredor per al futur de les empreses del nostre pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;estudi, en qu\u00e8 han participat dotze empreses consultores de prestigi d&#8217;Europa, subratlla, a m\u00e9s, els resultats positius que l&#8217;eix tindria per al Principat i el Pa\u00eds Valenci\u00e0, segons criteris socioecon\u00f2mics.
