El Teatre \u00c8pic \u00e9s en ess\u00e8ncia narratiu, i t\u00e9 una forma expressiva com una faula o par\u00e0bola. No t\u00e9 un desenvolupament lineal amb un plantejament, un nus i un desenlla\u00e7. Funciona per escenes aut\u00f2nomes i no busca una culminaci\u00f3 dram\u00e0tica ni emotiva. \u00c9s, doncs, un teatre per pensar, per\u00f2 no en el sentit filos\u00f2fic del teatre de Camus o de Sartre, massa complicat per al p\u00fablic senzill. Es tracta d\u2019activar l\u00b4intel\u00b7lecte del p\u00fablic popular, a base d\u2019un notable sentit de l\u2019espectacle (incloent els musicals o l\u00b4humor) i de transmetre una dial\u00e8ctica social i cultural nodrida amb un important bagatge hist\u00f2ric, art\u00edstic o cient\u00edfic. En dos paraules, \u00e9s un TEATRE DID\u00c0CTIC.<\/p>\n<p>El problema consisteix en que els mercats i els poders econ\u00f2mics i pol\u00edtics no en volen saber res de teatre did\u00e0ctic, i qualsevol excusa \u00e9s bona per no fer-lo. Si Brecht va topar amb la dictadura nazi (i la franquista a Espanya) ara tenim la dictadura del mercat; i el teatre brechti\u00e0 \u00e9s espectacular i, com el de Shakespeare, necessita d\u2019un notable planter d\u2019actors.<\/p>\n<p>Quan era estudiant vaig gaudir del meu primer Brecht al Festival Inernacional de Teatro de Zaragoza: <strong>La evitable ascensi\u00f3 d\u00b4Artur Ui<\/strong>, i la vaig veure en alemany a c\u00e0rrec del Berliner Ensemble. Eren els il\u00b7lusionants temps de la transici\u00f3. Des d\u00b4allavons \u00a0tot el Brecht que he pogut veure ha estat a Madrid o a Barcelona. I \u00e9s una pena (o vergonya) que \u00a0ciutats com Saragossa, Osca o Terol no puguin enriquir-se de muntatges de nivell de peces tan extraordin\u00e0ries com la <strong>Mare<\/strong><strong> Coratge<\/strong><strong>, La Vida de Galileu <\/strong>(que s\u2019acaba de representar a Madrid), o la meravellosa <strong>El cercle de guix Caucasi\u00e0<\/strong>, per no parlar de peces d\u2019influ\u00e8ncia brechtiana com l\u2019excel\u00b7lent versi\u00f3 que Jos\u00e9 Luis Alonso va fer de la novel\u00b7la de Gald\u00f3s <strong>Misericordia<\/strong>, amb la gran M\u00aa Fernanda d\u00b4Oc\u00f3n.Considero el teatre de Bertolt Brecht una necessitat cultural i social de primer ordre i vull afirmar que la cultura (i el teatre) no s\u00f3n un entreteniment per a rics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Antoni\u00a0 Bengochea<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Origen: Brecht (cultura i societat) | Viles i Gents (Publicat al Diario de Teruel el dissabte 2 d\u2019abril del 2016) Bertolt Brecht va dur a terme els anys 30 una renovaci\u00f3 important del teatre contemporani que va ser el que ell anomen\u00e0 TEATRE \u00c9PIC.
